AJ’s Doll House is looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated Braider & Hair Stylist Assistant to join our growing team!
We specialize in luxury hair services, including sew-ins, wigs, and extension installations. We’re looking for someone who is confident in their braiding abilities, takes pride in neat and efficient work, and understands the importance of properly preparing clients for their appointments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help create flawless results, thrives in a fast-paced salon environment, and is interested in growing their skills and building a long-term future with AJ’s Doll House.
Create neat, flat braid-downs for sew-in and extension installations.
Wash and prepare clients’ hair as assigned.
Assist with sectioning and leave-out preparation.
Work efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
Keep workstations and salon spaces clean and organized.
Provide friendly, professional client service.
Strong braiding skills and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
Availability for at least two weekdays per week
A bubbly, friendly personality and a team-player attitude.
Willingness to take constructive criticism and learn.
Someone motivated to grow with AJ’s Doll House long-term.
Hands-on experience in a luxury hair salon.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Position: Part-Time Braider & Hair Prep Assistant
Schedule: At least two weekdays per week, with additional shifts based on bookings.
